Bioflavonoids are those natural pigments that gives the color of fruits and vegetables. A flavonoid can be regarded as a bioflavonoid if it has got a p-factor effect: it fills the veins and capillaries, it prevents the degradation of collagen thus strengthening the blood vessel wall. The effect of medicines to prevent blood vessels are also based on this function.

Vitamin C combined with bioflavonoids possesses significant blood vessel protective and strong antioxidant effects, thus it can be used efficiently to preserve the youth of skin and to prevent diseases related to tumors.

Additionally, it helps vitamins and nutrients to be used and thus proteins can be also used in a better way.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is a form of niacin, a water-soluble vitamin B. The most effective absorption can be reached if it is inputted together with  other Vitamins B and Vitamin C. Antibiotics, alcohol, sugar, anesthetic medicines, estrogen in the body can significantly reduce the level of Vitamin B.

Niacinamide has got anti-inflammatory properties. Therefore, it can be suitable to treat several skin problems (acnes, eczema) but it can give a solution for those who suffer from problems related to ageing since it strengthens the lipid barrier and thus compensates the skin tone and wrinkles.

It is indispensable for the function of nervous, circulatory, and digestive systems. It has got an essential role in the process of detoxification, the formation of cholesterol and sex hormones. It can reduce high blood pressure, can mitigate the density of migraine headache and it has vasodilating effects as well.

Tocopherol- acetate

Tocopherol, or Vitamin E has antioxidative property. It protects cells and DNA promoting the health of cells. As Vitamin E is soluble in oils and fats, it can prevent free radicals from formation during the fat decomposing process.

Pantothenic- Acid

Pantothenic acid, or Vitamin B5 is one of the most important vitamins of human life. It is a necessary substance for every cell of human body. Regularly, it is mentioned as an anti-stress vitamin. Its presence is indispensable for the formation of blood cells, and it helps to convert the consumed food into energy, and to use carbo-hydrates, proteins and lipids. It is also important to keep healthy skin.

Pantothenic acid improves wounds healing. It achieves moisturizing and skin protective effect. The absence of it leads to reduced formation of cortisol, enhanced arthralgia, myalgia, tiredness, headache, depression, insomnia, effects facilitating widespread inflammation.

Zinc gluconate

Zinc gluconate is an organic food supplement which contains zinc salt form of gluconic acid for ensuring zinc. As an important trace element zinc has a key role in a number of biological processes, it functions as an antioxidant agent and strengthens the immune system. Although the mechanism action is not completely known but zinc supplementation can be used to increase immunity against viruses or it can cause disruption to the replication of certain viruses such as human papillomavirus (HPV).

More studies show that zinc pastilles can shorten the duration of cold by 33%. Zinc can act as an antioxidant agent, it helps to reduce inflammation and it protects against chronic diseases such as cardiac diseases, cancer, and diabetes.

Zinc is well-known for its role in the regulation of blood sugar level and insulin secretion. Insulin is the hormone that is responsible for transmitting sugar from the bloodstream into the tissues.

Pyridoxin- hydrochloride

Pyridoxin- hydrochloride or in other words Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble vitamin for which human body needs for several reasons. Human body is incapable of producing Vitamin B, that is why it needs to gain this sort of vitamin from aliments and food supplements.

Vitamin B can improve our mood and can reduce the symptoms of depression. It is partly because this vitamin is needed to produce neurotransmitters that are responsible for the regulation of emotions including serotonin and dopamine. According to the surveys, it can facilitate the brain’s health and can reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

Vitamin B6 deficiency can lead to anemia. If it is used in large doses, it can be effective for those who suffer from premenstrual headache, mood disorders, bloating and from other problems known collectively as premenstrual symptoms.

Human body is incapable of storing riboflavin or in other words Vitamin B2. Riboflavin deficiency can cause several symptoms including eye diseases, in some cases cataract, bloodshot eyes, itching eyes, burning eyes and photosensitivity. Moreover, its deficiency can lead to the absence of other elements as well since riboflavin takes part in the processing of nutrients for example it helps the absorption of iron.

It is extremely important to get enough amount of riboflavin into the diet in case of pregnancy because riboflavin deficiency can risk the growth of babies and can increase the risk of preeclampsia that means dangerously high blood pressure during pregnancy.

People with coeliac disease and Crohn’s disease often lack riboflavin because absorption of nutrients does not work properly in their cases.

Thiamine mononitrate

Thiamine or in other words Vitamin B1 is needed for digestion and transformation of carbohydrates, fats, and alcohols. Moreover, it is needed to the normal function of myocardium and nerve cells. Food supplies of thiamine are full-grain crops as cereal processing removes the great part of thiamine content.

Human body needs thiamine to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP). It is a molecule which supplies energy inside the cells.

Certain aliments and particular eating habits can lead to thiamine deficiency. Of the most susceptible risk groups, people consuming a lot of coffee or tea even if they are caffeine free constitute the group of greatest concern. Moreover, thiamine deficiency can be envisaged among those who are regular raw fish and shellfish consumers.

Beta- carotene

Beta -carotene turns into Vitamin A (retinol) in human body. Vitamin A is needed to have a good eyesight, healthy eyes, strong immune system, healthy skin as well as healthy mucous membranes. Beta-carotene possesses strong antioxidant properties. Diets rich in antioxidants are proved by a considerable number of research to be able to improve health. By reducing oxidative stress in human body, antioxidants can help prevent diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, Alzheimer’s disease.

Folic Acid

Folic Acid is a form of Vitamin B9, it is Vitamin M. It is water soluble and often called as a prenatal vitamin.

It has got an essential role especially in pregnancy because in the first trimester of pregnancy the closing process of spine and neural tube is only correct in the presence of folic acid. Therefore, folic acid supplementation is recommended for pregnant women.

It is known as Vitamin B7 and Vitamin H. It is one of the B complex group vitamins which similarly to the other vitamins helps the body use enzymes and carry nutrients.

Biotin helps maintain several main systems of the human body. Studies show that biotin can help treat the symptoms of diabetes. It helps regulate the level of blood glucose in case of certain diabetic people.

Biotin can be effective in the treatment of certain diseases such as low blood glucose and high level of blood fat. The symptoms related to biotin deficiency can be several sensation disorders such as depression, myalgia, continuous tiredness, inappetence. In case the deficiency persists, anaemia, increased cholesterol can be detected.

Potassium iodide

It is important to have enough amount of iodide in the body. It controls hormones, the normal embryonic growth and plays an important role in the health of thyroid that is why it is applied in the treatment of hyperthyroidism. During pregnancy women need more iodide. Iodide intake during pregnancy is associated with the embryonic brain development. In the first six months of pregnancy the presence of iodide is crucial in respect of the development of the brain.

Natrium selenite

Natrium selenite is a form of selenium which can be found particularly in plant-based food, meat, and seafood. Its main role stems from its antioxidant effect. As a result, it can mitigate the effects of oxidative stress. In case of deficiency, the likelihood of cardiovascular diseases, cancers, hypothyroidism is higher.

Ergocalciferol, known as Vitamin D2, is produced from ergosterol that is a plant-based pre-Vitamin. Vitamin D has a great number of essential functions. Probably, its most important roles are the regulation of calcium and phosphorus absorption and the promotion of the normal immune system function.

It is important to acquire the adequate amount of Vitamin D for the normal growth of teeth and bones. Vitamin D can play role in lowering the risk of sclerosis multiplex, cardiovascular disease and influenza.

Cyanocobalamin, known as Vitamin B12, is an essential vitamin for which the body needs, however, it cannot produce it. It plays a crucial role in the development of red cells.

In the first trimester of pregnancy Vitamin B12 deficiency can increase the risk of mutant births such as neural tube defects. Moreover, maternal Vitamin B12 deficiency can contribute to premature births or abortions.

L- ascorbic acid or as also known Vitamin C

Among ascorbic acids, L-ascorbic acid can be found in nature.  Only this form is enable to nourish the human body that is known as Vitamin C. Contrary to, D-ascorbic acid is harmless and useless for our body. For this reason, we only add L-ascorbic acid to our food supplements.

Vitamin C is water soluble and is not stored in human body. That is why, in order to have the adequate Vitamin C level, people need to supply it every day.

Daily hardships, physical work, and sport place a great strain on the body that responds with stress. Due to the effect of stress, the balance of free radicals and antioxidants is disturbed and if it persists, it can lead to diseases and the acceleration of ageing. Therefore, Vitamin C supplement is greatly important for the proper functioning of immune system.

How can it help?

It can strengthen the resilience against stress.  No matter if our human body is exposed to either physical or psychological strain, Vitamin C intake can make it easier to endure.

It can accelerate the recovery of micro damages in muscles.

It can reduce the feeling of tiredness that is possible because of its role in the functioning of thyroid.

It makes toxic elements in body harmless that accumulate in the form of the so-called free radicals. These are so fierce molecules that can damage the cells of the body. Antioxidants like Vitamin C take these chemical compounds and help them to remove from the body.

It can help to develop collagen, L-carnitine and some neurotransmitters. Collagen can contribute to the growth of muscles, L-carnitine can reduce the level of body fat, some neurotransmitters can support the central nervous system and can improve sleep quality.

Vitamin C can be more useful if we intake it together with bioflavonoids. It is a good news that Vitamin C coming from natural resources contain bioflavonoids. On the other hand, with Vitamin C the effectiveness of other vitamins and compounds can be enhanced. Taking it with MSM, it increases the effect of anti-inflammatory, with grape seed extract it helps the recovery of cancer cells, in combination of β-catenin and Vitamin E the antioxidant properties can be increased.
